The district is bordered on the north by Charlotte, NC, on the east by Pineville, NC and Lancaster County, SC, on the south by Fort Mill, SC and on the west by Tega Cay, SC. The district is home to approximately 30,000 residents and over 1,000 businesses in a rapidly growing unincorporated area of Fort Mill township. FHFD provides fire protection and rescue services in a 15.4 square mile special tax district in northern York County SC. The Flint Hill Fire Department (FHFD) is a combination fire department with full time paid, part-time paid and volunteer members.
